Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

Astringent entrance screening process is used to sift the eligible applicants. This is done in order to ensure commitment for the duration of the course, an aptitude for film and entrepreneurial capacity.

Students’ progress is reported on monthly using quantitative and qualitative tools e.g. attendance registers, assignments, assessments, a portfolio of evidence, personal growth tools and practical work.

A project manager is responsible for the monitoring of the programme and reports to the LIMA executive committee with regards to strategic elements of the programme, quality of the interventions and their impact, as well as financial management.

The SA Creative Industries Incubator’s Training Manager oversees the qualifications monitoring with regards to the Seta accredited processes and the University of Pretoria’s (UP) requirements. External assessors and moderators are used to assess student work throughout the course according to Seta and UP prescripts.
